Redeem your bottles & cans
at the Lighthouse to support the Bay!
At the foot of Lake Street, near the Town Boat Dock, there is a Lighthouse receptacle for redeemable bottles and cans. Not only does this provide additional revenues toward keeping the lake clean, but aids in a greener environment by promoting recycling.
You can also redeem your bottles and cans at Hometown Beverage or Hannaford
Both Hometown Beverage and Hannaford have miniature lighthouses that if you redeem your bottles yourself, you can put your slip in the lighthouse and SAAWA gets the proceeds! Don't forget that Hometown Beverage pays 6 cents per can or bottle!
Lighthouse Volunteers Needed
We are always looking for more volunteers to help with the Lighthouse bottle collection.
